ISO installer
Here the ISO installer can be downloaded. It is intended to perform the installation procedure,
possibly on the target device. It partitions the target disk, and installs a runtime image on it.
Note that it is not the freshest, so after an install an upgrade is recommended to have the latest
image on the device. The installation is simple, just boot from the CDROM, and let the installer
perform its job. To avoid any possible data loss, the device where the installation procedure is to
be done should have only the target disk installed inDownload

Latest cflinux image
Those who are upgrading from pre-1.0 versions should read
these important changes or could have a system which will not start up.
Here you can find the latest cflinux-x.y.img to download.
I plan to release a new binary image every month, but if you want the really fresh cflinux,
you must get it from sources, and compile it yourself.
First to mention is madwifi, which is replaced with madwifi-ng in cflinux, and madwifi-ng can be configured other
way than madwifi. So if you manage your router via such a card, than please experience a bit with madwifi-ng, and
make sure your system will boot after the reflash.
Another thing is that the kernel may exceed the 1MB size, and thus upgrading from a pre-1.0 version would fail,
because the entry in grub's menu.lst must be altered. If you are upgrading an 1.0 version of cflinux,
scripts coming with the upgrade image will do it for you, but if not, you have two choices.
- Upgrade to cflinux-1.0 with cflinux-1.0.img and after it upgrade to the desired version.
- Modify your grub's menu.lst by hand, replacing the string 1+2048 with 1+4096, which means to load 4096 sectors (2MB) of the kernel instead of the 2048 sectors (1MB). Be sure to commit changes, mount /boot read-only, and after this step you can upgrade your software.
For now I know no more things that can cause trouble, but anyway, I suggest you to get familiar with the
upgrade process, and test carefully whether your system will start up correctly or not.
